    • AZ Chapter Meeting

    The chapter meeting is taking place at ASU West Campus in FAB N303A beginning at 10AM.  Teleconferencing is available; the number to call is (602) 496-2994.  Please contact the AZ Chapter President, Sharon Smith, via email if you plan to join the meeting by phone to ensure that you are connected during the meeting.  Finally, please review the agenda at your earliest convenience.

    • Student Leadership Conference (SLC)

    • 31st Annual WESTOP Conference

    This year's conference is taking place in our home state - Arizona!  This is a great time for us to gather together and discuss/learn from the conference theme - Sustainability: Fortifying Education with Access and Retention.  Visit the WESTOP web site for more information!

    During the 2009 WESTOP Regional Conference, Arizona will take the opportunity to get together after the scheduled chapter meeting.

    • Relations with the Department of Education

    COE's 29th Annual Policy Seminar affords the TRiO and GEAR UP community the opportunity to help educate Members of the 111th Congress, Congressional staff, and new Obama administration officials about the history and the success of TRiO and GEAR UP.  More importantly, the Policy Seminar enables participants to represent the interestes of low-income, first-generation and disabled students in the policy arena.  To learn more about Policy, visit the Council for Opportunity in Education web site!

  • Friday, April 17

    • Awards Luncheon

    Taking place at Arizona Western College, the Awards Luncheon will be an opportunity for projects to recognize the achievements of participants, alumni, project champions (supporters/advocates), and staff members.  Registration information will be posted by mid-February/early March.
